Lisa’s studies began with Human Services Management leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of Phoenix, December 2011. She graduated from Marywood University with a Master of Social Work degree, May 2018. She is currently in the licensing process. Her career began in 2012 working for Northwestern Human Services.
Lisa worked as a Therapeutic Support Specialist within the Wallenpaupack School District and also provided home visits helping children with behaviors. Some diagnoses are depression, anxiety, anger, bipolar, ADHD and autism. Most recently, she has worked with immigrants in an English as a Second Language program at United Neighborhood Center in Scranton, PA. Currently, she assists the Employee Service Center at Tobyhanna Army Depot providing individual counseling and facilitating group therapy. She is also credentialed as a Victim Advocate. Lisa and her spouse are both veterans of the Air Force and have three children.
While attending a meeting and listening to current and future plans of Choosing Integrity, Lisa was intrigued by the board members when she witnessed the dedication and passion everyone has to help those who need healing and support while transitioning back into the community. She wanted to be a part of this process. When offered to be a board member of Choosing Integrity, there was no doubt in her mind after seeing for herself what a great organization Choosing Integrity is and the commitment from the people behind it.
